When you start a TiveConnect VRI, Tive will ask you for permission to use the microphone and camera of your mobile device. To connect to an interpreter, you must select Allow. If you accidentally select Cancel, simply tap the Reload button on your screen and the prompt will reappear.
After you start your call, adjust the volume, prop up your phone to phase the person using sign language. The hearing person will be able to hear the interpreter (and the interpreter will be able to hear them), but this allows you to focus on the conversation with the individual who is present.
